CoorsTek / FlowGuard Pulsation Dampeners

FlowGuard pulsation dampeners operate by employing a small amount of gas contained within a flexible membrane fitted inside a non-corrosive shell. A portion of each pulse of fluid generated from the pump flows into the dampener compressing the gas. The dampener releases the stored fluid back into the line as flow decreases.

Maintenance Free – ZM Pulsation Dampener

ZM Series dampeners work well in a wide variety of system and pressure ranges. Unlike gas charged units, no adjustments are needed when system pressures or surge levels change. Their beveled connections allow direct, inline welding to eliminate flange costs and potential flange leaks.

Inline Pulsation Stabilizers

Internally, the stabilizer is a mandrel perforated with throttling orifices permitting fluid flow in either direction. A rubber sleeve around the mandrel is used to form a gas charged seal inside the case which reduces pulsations by expanding the sleeve and compressing the gas.
